Swine Show held Monday of fair 9:00 AM
RULES (Refer Also to General Rules)
1. An "Animal Owner or Caretaker's Verification of Veterinarian-Client-Patient Relationship' form must be presented upon arrival at all shows and fairs in Pennsylvania. Swine showing clinical signs of contagious or infectious disease will NOT be admitted to show. 2. Market hogs only are permitted to enter the fair for competition. 3. All swine must be individually identified by either ear tag, ear notch, or tattoo. 4. The superintendent may shift the weights in each division to allow for near equal number of entries in each division in the event that there are a disproportionate number of entries in any division. 5. An official "Certificate of Veterinary Inspection", signed by an accredited veterinarian must accompany all swine to the fair. It must state that the animal(s) show no signs of contagious or infectious disease. This certificate must be issued within 30 days of the opening date of the show and list all animals. The Certificate of Veterinary Inspection must show this statement: "Herd of origin has shown no evidence of pseudorabies within the past twelve months". 6. Any animal of unthrifty nature, unstable condition, or showing signs of sickness may be removed from the fair as deemed necessary by the department superintendent. 7. A one dollar ($1.00) per animal entry fee must accompany entry papers and be paid by the deadline date. If paying by check please make check payable to: Beaver Community Fair Association, Inc. 8. All animals must be checked in with the department superintendent by 7:00 P.M. on Sunday. 9. Market Hogs must weigh 210-270 lbs. |
