RULES

(Refer also to General Rules)

1. An "Animal Owner or Caretaker's Verification of Veterinarian-Client-Patient-Relationship" form must be presented upon arrival at the fair. Rabbits showing signs of contagious or infectious disease will not be admitted. Rabbits showing such signs during fair week must be removed upon the O.K. of the Dept.Supt. or Fair Committee.

2. Meat pens must consist of three (3) rabbits, 10 weeks old or less, each rabbit weighing 3-5Ibs. FFA & 4-H only. See rules in Youth Livestock Sale.

3. Single fryer to be one (1) rabbit, 10 weeks old or less, 3-5 pounds. FFA & 4-H only. See rules in Youth Livestock Sale.

4. Each exhibitor may enter two (2) rabbits per breeding class.

5. Exhibitor's ID number will be written in the rabbit's right ear with a marker.

6. No litters will be accepted.

7. A Pet class is open to exhibitors 18 years old and under that have not entered any other class. One entry per exhibitor.

8. Judges will award prizes based on merit. Prizes will not be awarded to unworthy entries.

9. It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to properly name the breed and sex of the rabbit being entered.

10. Rabbits will be checked in Sunday of the fair from 2:00-3:30 pm. All rabbits are to be checked by superintendent before the entries are put in the fair’s cages.

11. All rabbit judging to be done Monday evening of the fair at 6:00 pm

12. Fifty cents ($.50) per pen entry fee must accompany the entry form.

13. It is the exhibitor¹s responsibility to provide feed and water equipment, also to care for the animals each da including cleaning the trays.
