Dairy Show held Thursday of fair at 9:30 AM

Rules

Beef and Dairy Weighins(Refer also too General Rules)

  1. Animals must have official ear tags or official legible breed registration tattoo.
  2. Dairy cattle entries must be in the hands of Livestock Manager Carol Hoffman by August 15th.
  3. A Supreme Champion Female will be selected from the Grand Champions in the open and youth show after the final open class is judged. Grand Champions will be milked before the selection of Supreme Champion.
  4. The 4-H and Vocational Division is open to Snyder County members only.
  5. Beef and Dairy WeighinsThe show order for 2010 will be: Ayrshire, Jersey, Red & White Holstein, Guernsey, Milking Shorthorn, Lineback, Black & White Holstein & Brown Swiss.
  6. Animals other than those appearing in the premium list will not be accepted. Dairy exhibits will remain in the pens or stalls until 9:00 pm on Saturday. Exhibitors will forfeit all premiums if their animals are removed prior to this time. Animals must be checked by department personnel before animal entries are unloaded or removed.
  7. Dairy entries must be checked in with the department personnel by 7:30pm on Monday, September 20, 2010.
