Why Sponsor the Fair?

A Letter From the President

In 1928, the Beaver Community Fair was first held to showcase agricultural products, Vo-Ag and Home Economics projects, promote greater interest in agriculture for school and community, and encourage the production of better crops and a higher standard of rural life. The Beaver Vocational High School was the first sponsor of the fair. What started out as a school activity soon grew to a community function.

Still going strong in 2010, the Beaver Community Fair had over 6,000 exhibits from over 1,000 youth, 4-H and FFA students, and the community. Exhibits include crafts, art, photography, textiles, baked and canned goods, plants, crops, vegetables, educational displays, animals, and antique farm machinery that were viewed by approximately 28,000 people.

The Beaver Community Fair Board and its volunteers work hard to make the fair the best it can be for everyone. We rely heavily on sponsorships from the community to help make this happen.

As a sponsor of the fair, you will help to offset the costs of the fair events, publicity, and fair operation; and provide support for the hard work of the exhibitors at the fair. Please review the available sponsorship levels for the Beaver Community Fair. There are a variety of options available from which you can choose.

We appreciate your consideration of this request. If you have any questions please feel free to contact Amanda Beachel, Fair Secretary at 717-463-2994 or by email at feedback@beaverfair.org. You can also contact me at 570-837-6541 after 4 pm.

Thank you in advance for your support.

Sincerely,
Levi Aurand
President, Beaver Community Fair
